Divine Goddess Within...What does this mean? As I say these words, I think about what they mean to me. That I have the power within me to change and become and be, whatever I choose. Using a quote from the book Goddess by Choice, by D. Light, “The most powerful force in the world is a woman with a dream, and... the courage to pursue it.” And so begins the story of how this web site was created.

I have been a teacher in the public school system for over 17 years and feel as though this calling has moved into another dimension. I feel this so often happens with women as they grow and evolve spiritually and emotionally, (usually between 35-45 years of age). Those of you who are there, understand what I am talking about! For myself, I have always had a connection with the divine and angels and have worked very hard at raising my three children the same way.  I just believed!

Several years ago my husband and I had a wine store and we decided to create a women and wine group. I didn’t want this to just be a typical women and wine group, where you were only learning about wine. I wanted it to be a monthly opportunity for women to gather and connect with each other to create a sense of sisterhood and to support and nurture each other in business, personal relationships and friendship. Each gathering would center around a different theme that I felt women could relate to, and needed. The gatherings were powerful and magical and I found my divine calling. I want women to know they have the power to control their life and to stop and think outside the box of how they have been raised and what society tells them.

I truly believe that we are all spiritual beings here on Earth having a human experience, and we need to connect back to the spiritual and divine goodness of who we really are. What better way to do this than to connect with who we are, women, the goddess of Earth. I am a true believer of the power of feminine energy and how that energy can transform the world. We create our lives by the choices we make. Whether good or bad choices at the time, you make the choice, and move on, knowing that the tougher choices and lessons are our greatest teachers.
